Public endpoints do not require authentication as no transmitted data is considered private or secret. However,
authentication credentials may be transmitted. The response will be encrypted using the Public Key used to
verify the JWT signature. Providing credentials with a public endpoint will provide extra security against the tampering
of response data provided by the response.
Data transmitted via public endpoints is signed in the same manner as all other endpoints.
