Before you can begin using the LaunchKey API, you need an service. If you have not created a service yet, you can use our Getting Started Guide to create one.

Place your private.key file in a sensible location like /etc/mfa/private.key. Then create a PAM config file:

$ sudo touch /etc/pam.d/mfa

Now, open the config file you just created and add the following line, ensuring you replace the secret key, service key and private key with your relevant information.

service key:integer Unique 10-digit Service Key
secret key:string service Secret Key
private key:string Path to private.key

# /etc/pam.d/mfa Service Key Secret Key Path to Private Key
